TL;DR

The short version.

  • We collect what you give us. Form submissions (name, email, phone, company), product usage if you're a Matrix customer, and standard web analytics (browser, IP, pages viewed).
  • We use it to serve you. Reply to inquiries, run the Matrix product, improve the experience, and follow up on demos. We don't sell your data.
  • We share it only with vendors who need it. HubSpot for CRM. Vercel for hosting. Google Analytics for traffic. Listed below in plain English.
  • You have rights. Access, correction, deletion, opt-out of marketing. Email us; we respond within a reasonable window.

The longer version

The full policy.

The TL;DR above is accurate. The sections below add the specifics — useful if you're evaluating Matrix in a regulated context, doing a security review, or just want the unabridged version.

Information we collect

Information you provide directly. When you fill out a form on this website (demo request, contact form, content download), we collect what you submit: name, email, phone number, company, hotel portfolio details, and any free-text fields you include.

Information from the Matrix product. If you're a Matrix customer, we collect product usage data — accounts, opportunities, activities, properties, contacts you create or modify, and standard system logs needed to run the platform reliably.

Information collected automatically. Like most websites, we collect standard web analytics: IP address, browser type and version, operating system, referring URL, pages viewed, time on page, and similar signals. We use cookies and similar technologies to do this.

How we use information

  • Respond to your inquiries — schedule demos, answer questions, route partnerships
  • Operate the Matrix product — provide the sales intelligence layer to paying customers
  • Improve our website and product — analytics tells us which pages are useful and which aren't
  • Marketing communications — only when you've indicated interest (filled out a form, downloaded content, or are a current customer). Every email has an unsubscribe link.
  • Legal and security — comply with applicable law, protect against fraud, enforce our terms

We do not sell your personal information. We don't share it with third parties for their own marketing. We don't do cross-context behavioral advertising.

Vendors who process information on our behalf

We use a small set of trusted third-party providers to run our website and product. Each one only sees what they need to do their job.

ProviderPurposeWhat they see

VercelWebsite hosting, performance analyticsStandard server logs; aggregated traffic data
Google AnalyticsWebsite usage analyticsAnonymized page views; aggregated session data

Each provider is bound by their own privacy commitments, which you can review on their websites. We may add or remove providers as our needs evolve; we'll update this list and the “last updated” date when we do.

Cookies and similar technologies

We use cookies for three reasons:

  • Strictly necessary — required for the site to work. Authentication, preferences, security.
  • Analytics — measuring how the site is used so we can improve it.
  • Marketing attribution — understanding which channels drive demo requests.

You can control cookies through your browser settings. Blocking some cookies may affect site functionality.

Your rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to:

  • Access the personal information we have about you
  • Correct or update inaccurate information
  • Delete personal information (subject to legal retention requirements)
  • Opt out of marketing communications (every marketing email has an unsubscribe link; you can also email us directly)
  • Object to or restrict certain processing (GDPR / similar laws)
  • Data portability — receive your information in a machine- readable format

To exercise any of these rights, use the contact form and select “Privacy” as the topic (or include the word “Privacy” in your message). We respond within a reasonable window — typically within 30 days.

International transfers

M1 Intel is based in the United States. Our vendors are also primarily US-based. If you're accessing the site or product from outside the United States, your information may be transferred to, stored in, and processed in the United States. Different jurisdictions have different data protection laws; we apply commercially reasonable safeguards regardless of where your data flows.

Children's privacy

Matrix is a B2B sales tool for hotel operators. We don't knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16. If you believe we have, contact us and we'll delete it.

Changes to this policy

When we materially change this policy, we'll update the “last updated” date at the top and — for significant changes — notify customers in-product or by email before the changes take effect. We won't make changes that retroactively reduce your rights without your consent.

Contact

All privacy and general inquiries go through the same place: https://m1intel.com/contact. For privacy-specific questions, mention “Privacy” in your message and we'll route it to the right person.

We deliberately don't publish a public privacy email address — it would just collect spam, which means real inquiries get buried. The form lands in our CRM with per-message routing, and we respond from a real person.

Mailing address available on request for any formal privacy inquiry — submit through the form and we'll provide it.
